This is the book that I use EVERY DAY. It holds my lists, sketches, and taped little bits of thread and fabric for color exploration. 

This book is meant to be used. When we have beautiful things made by hand, we are more likely to use them in a meaningful way. I begin by hand-tearing soft white, unlined, acid-free, 80# text paper that is ideal for drawing and writing with pen or pencil. The exposed spine stitching allows the book to lay flat when it is open, and because this book is so large I reinforced the hinge area of the spine.

Each book contains 116 pages, measures 9.5 x 12.5" and is covered with organic cotton/hemp fabric that is plant-dyed in small batches in my dye studio with plants from my dye garden. Some of the journals have small patches and stitchwork to cover imperfections in the fabric and some do not.

Available in 9 colors: indigo, ombre brown with indigo edge, red, mottled peach, mottled orange, green, indigo with stitching, mottled indigo/brown, and yellow with stitching.
