*small batch - only a few available in each color*

I am more likely to pick up a project and stitch in my free time when everything I need is collected in one place. I designed this traveling sewing kit to keep my essentials (pins and needles, threads, scissors, and a seam ripper) and a little project always within reach. The inner pocket holds my tools, and my stitch work (like the block-printed stitching, stitch the scene, or stitch the design kits) can be wrapped up inside.  

The kit is machine stitched out of plant-dyed organic cotton/hemp and is available in five colors: charcoal, green, red, terracotta, and walnut. Each kit is embellished with hand stitched "bursts" on the outside and the inner pocket. The kit measures 4 x 3.5" when closed and 4 x 10" when open. It is lined with off-white wool felt and has two 3 x 3.5" wool felt pages for pins and needles. The internal pocket measures 4 x 3.75". A 16" strand twill tape ties the kit closed.  

INSIDE THE KIT:

• little scissors with handmade wool felt tip cover
• seam ripper
• spool of grey thread
• 4 colors of embroidery floss (colors are the same as the bursts on the outside of the kit - each kit is different)
• 2 sewing needles 
• 10 straight pins (2 sizes)
• 4 collarless safety pins
