Stitch up your own plant-dyed wool felt sparkling star with this DIY kit. Each star is embellished with gold thread and is hung from a strand of hand torn tea-dyed silk ribbon.

I dyed all of the wool felt in my home dye studio with flowers from my dye garden. Choose your color based on a color family, each color within the family is a little different.

• 8 x 4” piece of plant-dyed wool felt (dyed in the kata golda studio)
• 8 grams of buckwheat hulls
• 36 x ¹/₄” strand of hand torn tea-dyed silk ribbon
• 36” strand of plant-dyed embroidery floss  (6-ply)
• 40” strand of of gold thread (2-ply)
